Showmax Unveils Trailer for Catch Me A Killer Starring Game of Thrones’ Charlotte Hope as South Africa’s First Serial Killer Profiler

Johannesburg, South Africa – Showmax has released a trailer for “Catch Me A Killer,” a new TV series featuring Charlotte Hope from “Game of Thrones.” Co-produced with Germany’s Night Train Media, the series is set to launch next month and follows the story of South Africa’s renowned serial killer profiler Micki Pistorius, portrayed by Hope.

Adapted from Pistorius’ memoir of the same name, the 10-part show takes viewers on a journey as the newly-qualified forensic psychologist tracks down South Africa’s most feared killers. Each episode delves into a different case, from the Cleveland Killer to Stewart ‘Boetie Boer’ Wilken, offering a gripping narrative that spans across the country.

“Catch Me A Killer is the true story of the first serial killer profiler in South Africa,” said Charlotte Hope, known for her roles in “Game of Thrones” and “The Spanish Princess.”

The lead writer for the series is SAFTA winner Amy Jephta, with a team of talented writers including Sarah Hooper, Jessica Ruston, and Oliver Frampton. Abacus Media Rights is responsible for handling international sales for the show.

Showmax, owned by MultiChoice, recently relaunched and will debut a new app next month, creating an air of anticipation among fans and viewers. The release of “Catch Me A Killer” adds to the streaming service’s growing lineup of original content, further solidifying its position in the entertainment industry.
