Why Marjorie Taylor Greene says Republicans Should Not Protest Trump’s Potential Arrest

United States Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene said Republicans don’t need to oppose the possible looming arrest of former President Donald Trump because the communist Democrats have sealed their fate.

The Georgia congresswoman tweeted many times on Saturday to express her opinion about Trump’s Truth Social post claiming he expects to be arrested on Tuesday because of unlawful leaks from the Manhattan District Attorney’s office.

Greene slammed the Manhattan District Attorney and the Department of Justice in her first tweet on Saturday morning, stating Trump’s possible arrest is solely political.

Greene’s tweets state this is common practice in communist countries to eliminate political opponents. To halt this, Republican members of Congress need to subpoena these communists. She also said that Republicans could cut Democrats’ pay and entire departments if they want to.

Greene appeared to answer Trump’s call for protest and to retake the nation a few hours later, saying that Republicans don’t need to resist the communist Democrats and the weaponization of the party.

With the silent majority feeling dread and fury at the current regime, Greene tweeted that the Democrats are dooming themselves for 2024.

The fiery congressman claimed that the two emotions constitute the most potent combination in the run-up to an election and that the corruption of the Democrats was the driving force.

Trump’s Truth Social post of a possible indictment sparked a social media firestorm early Saturday, drawing responses from politicians on both sides of the aisle and other public figures.

The post read:
Illegal leaks from the corrupt and highly political Manhattan District Attorneys Office, which has allowed new documentation to be set in violent crime and whose authority is funded by George Soros, indicate that, with no offense proven and based on an old and entirely discredited (by multiple other prosecutors) fairytale, the leading Republican candidate and former President, will be arrested on Tuesday of next week. Protest, take the nation back!

CEO of Twitter, Elon Musk, was one of the reactors, writing that Trump would win reelection by a considerable margin if he were arrested.

A court source reportedly stated on Saturday afternoon that the office of Manhattan District Attorney Bragg will be meeting with law enforcement to discuss logistics, indicating that an indictment is expected to be handed down sometime early in the coming week.

Steven Cheung, a spokesman for Trump, released a lengthy statement condemning the inquiry and accusing Bragg of being in the pocket of both President Biden and extreme Democrats.

According to Cheung, even the most extreme far-left Democrats acknowledge President Donald J. Trump is innocent and has done nothing wrong.

When reached for comment, the Manhattan District Attorney’s office would neither confirm nor comment on the impending indictment.
