Times Square Attack: Shocking Video Shows Illegal Immigrants Beating NYPD Officers

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK – Two violent migrants who were captured on CCTV stomping and kicking two police officers during a vicious attack in Times Square last month have yet to be arrested and are still at large, according to the New York Police Department. The suspects have not been apprehended in relation to the shocking attack where a mob of illegal immigrants kicked and beat the NYPD officers steps away from the New Amsterdam Theater, a popular tourist destination.

In photos released by police, one migrant is pictured wearing a red hoody, black pants, black sneakers, and a white baseball cap. In a now-viral video of the attack, the migrant is seen stomping on a lieutenant’s head as the police officer tries to apprehend a suspect on the ground. The migrant then kicks another officer in the back before returning to take a kick at the lieutenant.

Meanwhile, photos of the second migrant show him wearing a dark-colored puffer coat, blue jeans, sneakers, and a red baseball cap. They can be seen taking a big swinging kick at the lieutenant’s head, falling to the ground as they try to execute the kick.

Despite the release of several of those already arrested on bail, who have fled the state, the case has sparked widespread condemnation. This has led some New York Republican lawmakers to call for Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg to be removed from office. In response, Bragg said that his office “continues to work with law enforcement to bring everyone responsible for these heinous attacks to justice.”

Further adding to the controversy, more migrants involved in the case have been arrested, indicting the seriousness of the situation. The brutal attacks come amid an uptick in violent crime perpetrated in the city by illegal immigrants while officials continue to grapple with funding for the crisis.

Given the escalating situation, New York City Mayor Eric Adams is seeking additional funds from the state to address the illegal migrant crisis. Over 170,000 migrants have arrived in the city since 2022, and concerns are growing about the allocation of funds and the responsibility for managing the crisis.

The article will continue to follow the developments of the attack and the ongoing conversation about the impact of the migrant crisis on New York City.
