Suspicious Deaths Investigated in Dompe and Pamunugama

COLOMBO, Sri Lanka: Authorities are currently investigating two mysterious deaths in the towns of Dompe and Pamunugama. In Dompe’s Malwana area, police were led to the discovery of two bodies in a field based on a tip-off. The deceased individuals, identified as two young men aged 18 and 29, were staying temporarily at a residence in Malwana at the time of their death.

Another troubling incident unfolded in Pamunugama’s Uswetakeiyawa region, where the body of an unidentified person was found washed ashore. The remains have since been transferred to the Colombo North Teaching Hospital’s mortuary for further examination. These recent findings have heightened concerns, following the previous discovery of a deceased 40-year-old man in Pamunugama.
