Serial Killer Suspect John Matara Accused of Brutally Murdering Starlet Wahu and Targeting Other Women

NAIROBI, KENYA – The brutal murder of Instagram model Starlet Wahu in a South B Airbnb has led to the arrest of John Matara as the main suspect. Following Wahu’s death, several women have come forward claiming to be victims of similar circumstances involving Matara. Police are now investigating the 30-year-old for possible serial killings of women in and around Nairobi.

Just a day after Wahu’s tragic death, another woman reported being a victim of robbery by the same suspect, John Matara. The police are now examining the possibility of Matara being involved in multiple killings both within and outside Nairobi, according to Citizen TV.

The case took a new turn when a woman reported an attempted murder by Matara to the Makadara Sub-county police. She detailed the horrifying experience of being strangled and physically assaulted by Matara after meeting him through a dating site.

Matara’s violent tendencies seemed to escalate as another woman described being threatened with a knife and an iron box by Matara, demanding money and access to her personal accounts.

As more victims continued to share their harrowing encounters with Matara, social media also played a role in shedding light on the pattern of his actions. Comments and stories from various individuals pointed towards a disturbing trend of manipulation and violence by the suspect.

Additionally, it was revealed that Wahu’s family had never met Matara before the tragic incident, adding another layer to the complexity of the case. According to Pastor Kanyari, Wahu’s sister, the family had no prior interaction with the alleged murderer.

The tragic events surrounding Starlet Wahu’s death have stirred a wave of fear and concern, prompting an investigation into Matara’s possible involvement in other crimes. The case remains under intense scrutiny as more details continue to emerge about the suspect’s alleged history of violence and manipulation.
