Murder Charges Filed in Dagenham Stabbing Case: Man Charged with Killing 23-Year-Old

London, England – A 24-year-old man from Dagenham, east London, has been charged with murder following the death of a 23-year-old man from stab injuries. The incident occurred on Flamstead Road on Saturday, April 20th.

Frankie Burletson, the accused, faces charges related to the killing of Haseeb Bhatti. Additionally, Burletson has been charged with grievous bodily harm in connection to a 50-year-old man who also suffered stab injuries during the incident in Rothwell Gardens.

Law enforcement officials were alerted to the situation at 1:30 am, when they received reports of a 50-year-old man injured in Rothwell Gardens. Fortunately, the injuries sustained by the unnamed 50-year-old were not life-threatening, and he has since been released from the hospital.

As officers were responding to this initial incident, they were informed about Mr. Bhatti’s injuries. They discovered Mr. Bhatti in Flamstead Road, where unfortunately he passed away at the scene. Burletson was apprehended on Wednesday in connection to the incident.

Burletson appeared at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Friday morning and has been detained pending a court appearance at the Old Bailey on Tuesday.
