SAN DIEGO — A fatal stabbing near the Palm Avenue Trolley Station brought a homicide investigation to a busy transit area in southern San Diego after a young man fled a nearby fight and reached the station with serious injuries, authorities said.
The incident unfolded during the evening of July 23, 2024, near Hollister Street in the Palm City neighborhood. San Diego police said dispatchers received the stabbing report at about 7:50 p.m. Officers responding to the 600 block of Hollister Street located the victim at the trolley station, where transit security personnel and police began lifesaving measures.
