DAP Urges Home Ministry and Police to Address Violent Attack on Minister’s Family

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia – DAP Secretary-General Anthony Loke has urged the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Royal Malaysian Police to take immediate action in response to a violent attack on the home of a party member.

As Minister for Transport, Loke emphasized the importance of maintaining public safety and order, calling on the Home Ministry and the police force to prioritize the safety of the community.

Expressing solidarity with the victim’s family, Loke strongly condemned the act of violence and stressed that such behavior is unacceptable in society. He also confirmed that a police report has been filed, expressing confidence in the police force’s ability to swiftly and decisively investigate the incident.

Following the incident, police issued a statement indicating their efforts to locate the individual responsible for throwing the Molotov cocktail.

The attack on the DAP member’s residence has raised concerns about the safety and security of individuals involved in political activities, prompting calls for swift and thorough action by law enforcement authorities.
