Convicted Slough Man Pleads Guilty to Violent Attack on Teen Victim

Slough, United Kingdom – A 21-year-old individual from Teesdale Road in Slough faced charges at Reading Magistrates Court on March 21 following a police investigation into an incident that occurred on August 25, 2023.

The incident transpired at an address in Bracknell during a social gathering at a friend’s house. Reports revealed that the individual, Jamie Voska-Matsell, exhibited aggressive behavior towards a woman in her late teens before leaving the location with her car, despite being disqualified from driving and uninsured.

Upon returning to the address, Voska-Matsell reportedly engaged in a violent confrontation with the victim, physically assaulting her while they were inside the car. The victim disclosed that she had suffered from controlling and coercive behavior throughout their previous relationship.

Prior to allowing the victim to escape, Voska-Matsell resorted to damaging the car by hitting it to intimidate her and removing a wing mirror. Following his arrest, the offender was convicted of six different offenses and pled guilty to all charges.

PC Rebecca Reynolds, the investigating officer from Bracknell police station, expressed relief that Voska-Matsell admitted to the charges, sparing the victim from reliving a traumatic experience in court. Thames Valley Police commended the victim for her bravery in coming forward and emphasized their commitment to combating violence against women and holding offenders accountable.
