MILFORD, Mass. — Authorities have charged three individuals in connection with the assault and robbery of a 21-year-old man in the early hours of November 29. The incident, which was captured on surveillance video, occurred at the intersection of East Main and Middleton streets shortly before 3:30 a.m.
When police arrived at the scene, they encountered the victim, who sustained facial injuries. He reported to officers that he had been attacked and robbed by multiple assailants. Following the incident, a detailed investigation was launched, which spanned a month and ultimately led to the identification of the suspects.
The investigation pinpointed Christian George, 26, and Mikayla Sousa, 24, both from Milford, as well as Jaryn Platt, 36, from Worcester. Sousa was taken into custody after an interview at the Milford Police Department on a subsequent Monday. Meanwhile, Platt surrendered to law enforcement on December 1. George was apprehended on December 8 under active warrants related to the assault.
All three individuals are facing charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Additionally, George confronts more serious allegations, including armed robbery and aggravated assault.
