CHARLOTTE, NC – A disturbing incident involving a 9-year-old Miniature Schnauzer named Tywin has led to serious charges against a North Carolina woman. Authorities allege that 57-year-old Allison Lawrence drowned her dog in an airport restroom after failing to provide the necessary documents for Tywin to board a flight to Colombia.
Surveillance footage from the Charlotte Douglas International Airport captured Lawrence with Tywin just minutes before the tragic event. Video evidence shows Lawrence engaging in a lengthy conversation with airline staff at the ticket counter. Unable to board the flight with Tywin, Lawrence then headed to the restroom, emerging without her pet.
This shocking event has deeply unsettled the local community. Neighbor Daniel Delgado expressed disbelief, emphasizing the incomprehensibility of such an act, especially as a fellow dog owner.
