GARDEN CITY, Kansas – Authorities are conducting an investigation into a man accused of a series of violent offenses against his girlfriend in Finney County.
The incident came to light when law enforcement responded to a call from a woman in Finney County who had been severely injured in an altercation with her boyfriend, as reported in a press release. The victim had sustained significant injuries, prompting law enforcement to seek medical assistance. The individual suspected of these heinous crimes has been identified as 34-year-old Kyle Deger from Garden City. Authorities located Deger, placed him under arrest, and subsequently detained him in Finney County Jail. Charges filed against Deger include Attempted Murder in the 1st Degree (Domestic Violence), Aggravated Battery (Domestic Violence), Rape, Aggravated Kidnapping (Domestic Violence), Aggravated Endangering a Child, and Possession of Methamphetamine.
