Violent Attack by Activist Annie Jump Vicente Captured on Video

West Hollywood, California – A video released by the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station has shed new light on a violent attack involving a Block by Block ambassador. The incident, which took place on February 15, 2024, led to the arrest of one suspect, Annie Jump Vicente, a West Hollywood resident and trans activist, who is now facing a felony assault with a deadly weapon charge. The search continues for the second suspect, with LASD detectives seeking the public’s help in identifying this individual.

At a recent West Hollywood Regular City Council meeting, Annie Jump Vicente made allegations of being a victim of a violent attack, claiming that she had been sexually assaulted and brutally beaten by a Block by Block Ambassador. However, the video released by LASD paints a different picture of the incident.

According to the video, a Block by Block ambassador is seen walking past Ms. Jump and the unidentified suspect. After an exchange of words, a fight ensued, with both suspects assaulting the ambassador. The video also shows a dog, believed to be owned by Ms. Vicente, being dragged into the street during the altercation.

Annie Jump Vicente was subsequently arrested and booked by West Hollywood Sheriff Deputies, but was later released. The incident took place near Santa Monica Boulevard and N. Vista Avenue in front of a self-car wash, according to a source familiar with the situation.

The release of the video by LASD has prompted a closer examination of the events leading up to the arrest of Ms. Vicente, as new details surrounding the incident continue to emerge. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the second suspect to come forward.
