TRAGIC: New City Community Mourns Triple Murder-Suicide Shock

NEW CITY, New York – A shocking triple murder-suicide has left the community in Rockland County reeling just days before the new year. The tragedy unfolded when four family members were discovered dead inside their home on Clydesdale Court in New City.

The victims were identified as Watson Morgan, 49, his wife Ornela Morgan, 43, and their two sons, ages 10 and 12. They were found with gunshot wounds and pronounced dead at the scene after police performed a wellness check.

Watson Morgan, a Sergeant with the Bronxville Police Department, was reportedly the perpetrator, taking the lives of his family before turning the gun on himself. The discovery was made by Clarkstown Police after the Bronxville Police Department requested a welfare check when Morgan failed to show up for his shift.

The devastating incident has deeply impacted the local school community, as the two boys, Liam and Gabriel Morgan, were set to return to school on the following day. Grief counselors are providing support at their respective schools, along with the school where their mother, Ornela Watson, worked as a teacher.

A memorial outside the family home has been growing, with messages and photographs shared through a tribute Facebook page. The community has come together to offer condolences and support as they grapple with the tragedy that has unfolded.

As the investigation continues, the community is left in disbelief as they mourn the loss of the Morgan family, grappling with the aftermath of this devastating event.
