Houston, Texas – Authorities in Houston, Texas reported that Treyvon Johnson, a man suspected of fatally shooting a woman on Calhoun Street, was found deceased in a car in a Beaumont parking lot. The woman, identified as Marquisha Jackson, was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds over the weekend.
Sergeant C. Ponder and Detective N. Henderson of the HPD Homicide Division noted that officers responded to a shooting on Calhoun Street and found Jackson lying in the street. Unfortunately, Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced her dead at the scene.
Initial investigations revealed that Jackson was last seen with Johnson, her boyfriend, in her blue Honda Accord with temporary license tags. Neither Johnson nor the vehicle was initially located. However, on Tuesday, the Honda was located in a Beaumont parking lot on East Freeway. Beaumont Police officers arrived at the scene and found Johnson deceased in the back seat with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, alongside a revolver recovered near his body.
