Lareon “Lay Lay” Brown, a 26-year-old mother of three, lost her life in a shooting that escalated from a dispute around 1:30 a.m. She had been surrounded by family just hours earlier, commemorating her daughter Zynova’s birthday.
Brown’s sister, Netorian Crawford, shared heartfelt memories of her sibling, describing her as the emotional cornerstone of the family. “Lay Lay had a special way of making everyone smile,” Crawford said, recalling her sister’s vibrant personality and infectious joy. “She was simply a kind-hearted person.”
