Brandon, Canada – Four teenagers were taken into custody by Brandon police following a violent assault that left a 30-year-old woman hospitalized with serious injuries over the weekend.
The incident occurred at a business on Rosser Avenue, where the victim was surrounded and attacked by three teenage girls and one teenage boy. The group physically assaulted the woman, knocking her to the ground and continuing to kick and punch her. The victim’s cell phone was also stolen during the attack.
After receiving a call about the disturbance, police arrived at the scene and promptly located the injured woman. She was then transported to the hospital for medical treatment. Surveillance footage of the assault was used to identify and apprehend the suspects involved.
The two 14-year-old girls, a 17-year-old girl, and a 15-year-old boy were all charged with robbery with violence. The three female suspects remain in custody, while the male suspect was released under certain conditions.
