Supari Killing Scheme Uncovered in Gadag: Eldest Son Hires Contract Killers for Property Inheritance

Gadag, India – The mystery surrounding the gruesome murder of four individuals in Gadag has been unraveled with the arrest of eight suspects, including the eldest son of the victims. The heinous crime, initially thought to be a case of random violence, turned out to be a premeditated plot orchestrated by the son to inherit the family property.

On a fateful night, assailants broke into the residence of Gadag Betageri CMC president Sunanda Bakale and brutally murdered four people, including her son Kartik, while they were asleep. Fortunately, Sunanda Bakale and her husband Prakash Bakale managed to escape the attack by waking up during the commotion and raising an alarm.

The Inspector-General of Police of Northern Range, Vikash Kumar Vikash, revealed in a press conference that the eldest son, Vinayak Bakale, had hired contract killers to eliminate his father, stepmother, and younger brother in a bid to gain control of the family’s property. The motive stemmed from a dispute over the sale of family assets without the father’s consent.
