Steve Bannon’s Unique Idea: A Trump- Kennedy Ticket

Steve Bannon had a unique idea: a Trump/Kennedy Jr. ticket for the Republican Party. According to Bannon, such a ticket would be an intriguing and potentially uniting ticket for the White House.

Democrat Robert F. Kennedy Jr., according to Steve Bannon, would be “an excellent choice” as Donald Trump’s vice presidential candidate. According to his campaign website, Kennedy’s presidential program was centered on limited surveillance and an anti-censorship attitude that included more robust environmental safeguards, the end of all foreign conflicts and US involvement, and the “high priority” on the freedom of expression.

The Hillsdale Collegian reported that Kennedy’s ire for Dr. Anthony Fauci, who rose to national prominence as a constant presence in the Trump and Biden administrations during the COVID-19 pandemic, drew over 1,000 people to Hillsdale College last month, making it one of the most significant seminars in school history.

Robert Kennedy, Jr. publicly launched his candidacy last Wednesday and is seeking to oppose current President Joe Biden, who announced his official campaign this Tuesday.

Following the announcement of Biden’s official campaign, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. took to Twitter to criticize the Democratic Party for embracing the elite while abandoning the American middle class.

Kennedy, Jr. said he has known and liked Joe Biden for many years. In spite of this, their views differ radically on a number of fundamental topics, including censorship, corporate influence in government, poverty, civil liberties, corruption, and war policy.

According to Kennedy, Jr., he had looked forward to engaging him in debates and town hall meetings during a fair, civil, transparent primary. He invited Biden into a new era of respectful dialog in these times of division. Biden had previously said he would not debate with fellow Democrats.

Kennedy, Jr., said he is a multigenerational Democrat but believes the Democratic party has strayed. He said he remembers when they stood up to big corporations and Wall Street on behalf of the poor and middle class. A time when they were the party of civil liberties, peace, and people power? Kennedy, Jr. said that he intended to reclaim his party’s and its traditional values.

The Biden administration is riddled with Neocons, war hawks, Wall Street people, and former corporate lobbyists, Kennedy Jr. said. According to Kennedy, Jr., the party devolved into elitism. He added that he knows that the ranks and the American people generally do not share their priorities. He said it’s time to give back “our party and our country” to the people. #Kennedy24”

Kennedy Jr. is correct. The Democratic Party has evolved into a party that emphasizes the rich elite above the working people in America. Their legislative goals prioritize the wealthy coastal elites over the middle class, and their globalist agenda places America last.

Additionally, Kennedy’s message resonates with some Democrats. According to a recent survey by The Hill, RFK Jr., he had 14 percent support among Democratic primary voters. Meanwhile, according to The Hill, a vast majority, 70%, believe Joe Biden should not run for a second term.

Kennedy, Jr. symbolizes a new road ahead for the Democratic Party. It is up to voters to determine if they want to replace the 80-year-old Biden with a Democrat of a different generation. And while Bannon’s idea is interesting, it is very doubtful that such a unifying ticket could occur.
