Shooting Suspects Wanted in Connection with Woodlawn High School Senior’s Death

SHREVEPORT, La. – A tragic incident has shaken the community of Shreveport after a 17-year-old senior at Woodlawn High School was killed in a shooting just before his graduation. The Shreveport Police Department has made an arrest in connection with the case and is searching for two additional individuals wanted for questioning.

The incident occurred on May 1 when officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 800 block of W 70th Street. The victim, identified as Artavious Prim, was rushed to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. Following an investigation, Bryson Turner, 20, who drove Prim to the hospital, was arrested for obstruction of justice after being uncooperative with detectives.

Further inquiries revealed that multiple individuals were involved in the fatal shooting. Two suspects, Marcus Brown, 28, and DeAndre Daniel, 28, are currently being sought by authorities for questioning.
