SAGINAW, Mich. — A shooting in Saginaw early Wednesday claimed the life of a pregnant woman, sending shockwaves through the community. Police responded to the incident at a local gas station, where they discovered two individuals with gunshot wounds.

The victim, identified as 19-year-old Kendall Berrington, was found at the Marathon gas station on Court Street shortly after 1:30 a.m. Despite emergency responders’ efforts, Berrington was pronounced dead at the scene.
