Doral, Florida – A tragic incident unfolded at CityPlace Doral when a security guard lost his life in a confrontation that led to a shootout with the suspect on Saturday. Identified as 23-year-old George Alejandro Castellanos, the security guard was fatally shot by 37-year-old Jamal Wayne Wood at Martini Bar, prompting a swift response from law enforcement.
According to Miami-Dade Police, the altercation inside the bar escalated when Castellanos intervened, resulting in his tragic death. Doral Police officers arrived at the scene and engaged in a confrontation with Wood, ultimately leading to the suspect being shot and killed.
