Rescue Dog Stitch Seeks Forever Home in Norfolk After Surviving Violent Attack

Norfolk, England – A brave rescue dog named Stitch is in search of a loving forever home in Norfolk after surviving a harrowing attack at a Romanian dog shelter. Stitch, a large crossbreed estimated to be seven to eight years old, was left badly injured and traumatized after being viciously mauled by other dogs.

Rescued by the charity Safe Rescue for Dogs, based in Wymondam, Stitch was saved from near death, thanks to the intervention of a quick-thinking volunteer. Kelly Hare, a fosterer from the charity, expressed that if they hadn’t intervened, the outcome for Stitch could have been much worse.

Despite his past trauma, Stitch is described as a gentle soul who is slowly but surely opening up to the idea of finding a new family. His physical wounds, including severe injuries to his stomach that required multiple stitches, have since been healing. Stitch was initially withdrawn and despondent upon arriving in the UK, but with time and care from his fosterers, he has started to show signs of trust and affection.

In his search for a forever home, Stitch is in need of a patient and understanding family who can provide him with the love and security he deserves. While he may be reserved and cautious around new people, Stitch has shown that he can get along well with other dogs, despite the trauma he has endured.

Prospective adopters interested in giving Stitch a second chance at life can find more information on the Safe for Rescue Dogs website.
