Petrol Station Worker Brutally Attacked by Group of Thugs Captured on Snapchat in Stockport Horrific Incident

Stockport, England – A disturbing Snapchat video surfaced, capturing the brutal assault on a shop worker by a group of hooded assailants. The footage, shared on social media, shows the defenseless staff member being attacked and robbed at a petrol station on Wellington Road South in Stockport during the early hours of July 29, 2021.

The video led authorities to identify and apprehend Kausar Amin, Bradley Maphosa, Tyler Garforth, and Riley Richardson in connection with the violent incident. In the footage, the staff member can be seen threatened by the group outside the petrol station before they storm in, hurling objects at him and subjecting him to a barrage of punches and kicks.

Following the assault, which left the victim shaking in terror on the ground with his arms raised, paramedics attended to him. The attackers fled the scene with approximately £600 worth of stolen goods before being tracked down by law enforcement with the help of the incriminating Snapchat footage.

Subsequently, Amin, Maphosa, Garforth, and Richardson were arrested and later charged for their involvement in the crime. Amin, hailing from Oldham, received a two-year prison sentence for robbery after appearing in court.

While Amin faced a significant jail term, his three associates were also held accountable for their roles in the robbery. Maphosa, a 20-year-old from Salford, was sentenced to two years in a young offender institution. Garforth, aged 19 from Chadderton, received a suspended 13-month detention period in a young offender institution for two years. Richardson, also 19 from Oldham, admitted to a robbery charge and was given a suspended 13-month prison sentence.

Detective Constable Lucy Williams expressed satisfaction in bringing the perpetrators of the senseless attack to justice, emphasizing the importance of the victim’s resilience and public support in achieving this outcome. Garforth and Richardson were mandated to complete community service, rehabilitation activities, and observe curfew restrictions as part of their sentencing.
