North Texas Fugitive Wanted for Violent Attack Featured on “America’s Most Wanted”

WHITE SETTLEMENT, Texas – A fugitive with potential ties to North Texas has been featured on “America’s Most Wanted” for a violent attack on a woman in 2016. Cesar Colin is wanted by the White Settlement Police Department for an assault that left a woman seriously injured.

The incident took place on November 20, 2016, when officers responded to a 911 call and found the victim, Gloria Sanchez, who had been brutally attacked with a knife. Despite her extensive injuries, officers were able to locate her and provide immediate medical attention to save her life.

Sanchez and Colin had been in a romantic relationship, and on the night of the attack, they had returned home after a night out at a club. Colin allegedly became enraged and attempted to sexually assault Sanchez at knife-point. Even though he threatened to kill her if she called 911, she managed to escape and call for help. However, when Colin heard the dispatcher’s voice on the phone, he began repeatedly stabbing her before fleeing the scene.

Investigators believe that Colin fled to Mexico, where he has family, and was never located by law enforcement. Following the attack, Sanchez claims that two men with guns showed up at the home where she was staying, and she believes Colin sent them to kill her. Despite the recovery, Sanchez still fears that Colin may have returned to North Texas.

Chief of Police Christopher Cook has urged anyone with information on Colin’s whereabouts to come forward, emphasizing the need to bring justice to the victim. The investigative team believes that the fugitive may have returned to the North Texas area, prompting an increased effort to locate him.

Anyone with information is asked to call the White Settlement Police Department’s tip line at 817-246-4973, email investigator@wspd.us, or contact Tarrant County Crime Stoppers at 817-469-TIPS.
