Authorities reported that the altercation, which involved a 60-year-old man, transpired on Saturday night when the ship was en route from Southampton. Celia Kelly, who was celebrating her grandmother’s 80th birthday during the cruise, noted that alcohol consumption was widespread among passengers, stating, “There was a lot of drinks flowing.” She described the atmosphere as lively, further commenting on the lack of visible disturbances until their arrival back in Southampton. “We didn’t see or hear any trouble, only groups having fun,” Kelly explained.
