Syracuse, N.Y. — A 56-year-old man has been arrested and charged with murder following the discovery of a woman’s body during a welfare check at a residence in Syracuse. The victim has been identified as 40-year-old Nicole Azzoto by police.
Authorities responded to the home located on Glass Terrace around 2:27 p.m. on Friday. Subsequent investigations revealed Azzoto’s death under circumstances that appeared suspicious, although officials did not disclose specific details regarding the cause of death.
