The sentence is the latest court resolution stemming from the disappearance and assault of a 13-year-old girl in November 2024.
MILWAUKEE — A Milwaukee man has been sentenced to seven years in prison for his role in a case involving the kidnapping and sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl, marking another major court outcome in an investigation that has led to charges against multiple people.
Davion Wilder was sentenced after being prosecuted in connection with events that began when the girl disappeared in November 2024. Prosecutors said Wilder became involved after another defendant took the child to several locations in Milwaukee. The investigation continued for more than a year as authorities identified suspects and moved separate cases through the court system.
The girl was reported missing after she encountered Antonio Randolph at a gas station near North 50th Street and West Lisbon Avenue on Nov. 18, 2024, according to a criminal complaint. Prosecutors said Randolph and another man assaulted her at a nearby residence before Randolph took her to his grandmother’s home and prevented her from contacting her family.
Court filings said Wilder later picked up Randolph and the girl on Nov. 20. After dropping Randolph off, Wilder sexually assaulted the child inside a vehicle, prosecutors alleged. He later returned the girl to the gas station area, where a family friend recognized her and contacted her relatives.
Wilder was charged in December 2024 with second-degree sexual assault of a child under 16. A warrant was issued before he was taken into custody on Dec. 10. Earlier court records showed that he initially pleaded not guilty while the case proceeded toward trial.
The seven-year prison term represents a separate punishment from the sentence imposed on Randolph. Randolph pleaded guilty to second-degree sexual assault of a child and was sentenced in October 2025 to 15 years in prison followed by 10 years of extended supervision. Another child sexual assault count was dismissed as part of that case.
The cases were handled separately even though prosecutors said they arose from the same period in which the girl was missing. Each defendant faced charges tied to his alleged conduct rather than a single joint prosecution. Authorities have also charged another person as the investigation widened, though complete details of that defendant’s case were not available in the public reporting reviewed for this article.
The girl’s name has not been published because she was a child and the victim of an alleged sexual assault. Court records and news reports have described the allegations without identifying her.
The sentencing closes Wilder’s trial-level case unless he seeks postconviction relief or an appeal. Proceedings involving the latest person charged remain separate, and no final outcome in that case has been announced.
