Littlefield Couple Murder Mystery Solved: Shooter Identified by Arizona Officials

MOHAVE COUNTY, Arizona – In a chilling turn of events, law enforcement officials in Mohave County, Arizona, have uncovered the identity of the individual responsible for the tragic deaths of a Littlefield couple back in 2018.

Jerry and Susan McFalls, a couple of 62 years old, vanished from their Arizona Strip residence on January 11, 2018. Following an extensive search, their remains were eventually discovered in a shallow grave near the Virgin River Gorge on October 15, 2018 – a grim revelation that shook the community.

The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office recently declared that Kenneth Gene Snyder, a 57-year-old resident of Littlefield, was the perpetrator behind the McFalls’ untimely demise. According to witness accounts, Snyder engaged in a heated altercation with Jerry McFalls upon his approach to Snyder’s residence, which tragically culminated in Snyder fatally shooting both Jerry and Susan before disposing of their bodies.

Snyder’s reign of terror came to a halt on June 1, 2023, when he was shot and killed during a domestic violence incident on his property, ultimately closing the door on the possibility of any arrests relating to the McFalls case.

The investigation into the McFalls’ disappearance was launched on January 21, 2018, after concerned family members raised the alarm. The couple’s phones, money, medication, identification, pets, and firearms were all found at their Littlefield residence, painting a grim picture of their sudden disappearance and subsequent tragedy.

The unfortunate fate of the McFalls’ was officially confirmed through the positive identification of Susan’s remains on October 18, 2018, and Jerry’s remains on January 30, 2020, through meticulous medical and DNA analysis, respectively.
