On International Women’s Day, First Lady Jill Biden and Secretary of State Antony Blinken were criticized on Twitter for presenting the “Women of Courage” award to a biological man from Argentina.
Social media users collectively moaned and took to Twitter to express their outrage. The award ceremony was held at the White House. According to a State Department news release, eleven exceptional women from around the world working to create a better future for all were honored.
Alba Rueda was introduced as a transsexual lady who was expelled from schools, prohibited from taking tests, denied employment prospects, subjected to assault, and disowned by her family. Despite these obstacles, she strove to abolish prejudice and violence against the LGBTQ+ population in Argentina.
Rueda, Argentina’s Special Envoy on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity, advocated renaming the National Women’s Conference the “Plurinational Conference of Women and Lesbian, Cross-Dresser, Transgender, Bisexual, Intersex, and Non-Binary People.”
The transgender activist has aggressively advocated for progressive measures in her country, notably the Transgender Labor Quota Act, which mandates that transgender individuals fill 1% of public sector employment. In addition to serving as Argentina’s undersecretary for diversity policy under the Ministry of Women, Gender, and Diversity, she also formed Argentina Trans Women.
The first lady and Blinken shook her hand and kissed her as they presented a woman’s award to a biological male. Twitter was appalled by the praise and the act of awarding a”woman” who was born a male as a heroic lady.
Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders had the perfect remark; it’s International Women’s Day — a wonderful opportunity to remember that Democrats can’t even define a woman.
It’s gracious of “FLOTUS” to promote the denigration of women on ‘international women’s day.’ Dana Loesch, presenter of “The Dana Show,” said that what is happening is that they are erasing women.
It appears that men are far better at impersonating women than women are. Townhall blogger and radio personality Derek Hunter jokingly challenged women to improve their game.
Former congressional candidate and journalist Karoline Leavitt pondered, why are the Democrats trying so hard to advance the trans agenda?
Buzz Patterson, a columnist for RedState, remarked nothing shouts the ‘International Women of Courage Award’ more than a man.
This is shameful and “intolerable!” Jennifer Barreto-Leyva, a member of the GOP National Hispanic Assembly’s national editorial board and podcaster member, stated.
The inaugural award was granted in 2007. International Women’s Day was founded by socialists at the beginning of the 20th century. According to the Daily Wire, communist nations were the first to observe the day.
Twitter users took to tweeting their ridicule of Biden and Blinken over the award. Many of them express that this seems like an alternative reality. Some stated this was an insult to genuine women across the United States and the world! The Biden administration is despicable!
