Houston Attorney Shot and Killed by McDonald’s Customer Outraged Over Order – Suspect on the Loose

Houston, Texas – An irate customer shot and killed attorney Jeffrey Limmer at a local McDonald’s on May 4, 2024. The suspect, Anthony Martin Landry, a 57-year-old with a history of criminal activities, remains at large as authorities continue their search.

According to Houston Police Department, Landry faces a murder charge for the fatal shooting of Limmer inside the fast-food establishment on West Interstate Highway 10 service road. The incident occurred after Landry, dissatisfied with his order, demanded a refund from McDonald’s employees.

Limmer intervened in the situation, trying to calm Landry down, but their interaction soon turned physical in the parking lot. Landry allegedly pushed Limmer to the ground, retrieved a gun from his car, and shot the attorney multiple times. The gunman then fled the scene in a blue Ford pickup truck.

At the time of the shooting, Landry was out on a $10,000 bond for a prior felony aggravated assault case. Court records revealed his past involvement in criminal cases related to possession of crack cocaine, evading detention, and forgery during the 90s.

Limmer’s family expressed their grief over the loss of their loved one and called for Landry’s swift apprehension. They described Limmer as someone who always sought to calm situations and fight for justice for others, reflecting on his compassionate nature and dedication to doing the right thing.

As the community mourns Limmer’s tragic death, they remember him as a music lover and outdoor enthusiast. He leaves behind his beloved companion, Lola, a bulldog he rescued in 2020. Limmer’s legacy as a devoted family member, accomplished professional, and caring individual will be remembered by all who knew him.
