Goons Allegedly Offer Lift, Attack Rival with Knives in Bhopal

Bhopal, India – A violent confrontation between two listed goons of the Aishbagh area and another goon took a dangerous turn in Ashoka Garden on Thursday. The attack, carried out with knives, was reportedly the result of a dispute over territorial control between the accused individuals and the victim. Kallu Bhannat, a resident of Shankracharya Nagar in Bajaria and a known goon in the area, had recently been released from jail when he was targeted by the accused, identified as Amir alias Murga and Sameer Kanchi.

According to the investigation officer ASI Sanjay Sisodia, the incident unfolded late at night when Kallu was offered a lift by Amir and Sameer as they passed by in an auto-rickshaw. However, a sudden altercation ensued, leading to a violent attack on Kallu with knives. Despite Kallu’s attempt to evade the assault, he sustained injuries to his neck and face before the accused individuals fled the scene, leaving him bleeding.

Following the harrowing ordeal, Kallu promptly sought help from the authorities, lodging a complaint at the Ashoka Garden police station. Subsequently, a case of attempted murder was registered against Amir and Sameer, marking a development in the ongoing investigation into the attack.
