Fugitive Fort Myers Man Convicted of Violent Attack on Woman and Child Wanted for Probation Violation

Fort Myers, Florida – A violent repeat offender is currently on the run after a disturbing attack on a woman in Fort Myers. Brian Regalado, 34, with a history of violent crimes, assaulted the victim during an argument by grabbing her neck, throwing her to the ground, and choking her. He then proceeded to pin her down with his knees and cover her mouth before she was able to escape, sustaining injuries and bruising to her face, neck, hands, and arms.

Regalado had previously been convicted of false imprisonment and battery by strangulation, leading to a nearly year-long jail sentence before being placed on probation. However, he violated that probation and has been evading law enforcement by moving between Fort Myers and Naples. With a criminal record that includes nine arrests in Lee and Collier counties for various violent offenses, including assaulting a law enforcement officer, Regalado is described as 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighing 140 pounds.

Anyone with information on Regalado’s whereabouts is urged to contact law enforcement authorities immediately. Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers can be reached at 800-780-TIPS (8477), through the P3 app, or on their website, where anonymity is guaranteed, and a cash reward of up to $3,000 may be offered for tips leading to an arrest.

In addition to Regalado, other fugitives are also being sought, including a convicted sexual predator missing in Southwest Florida, a man convicted of attacking a woman and child wanted for violating probation, and a Fort Myers felon wanted for fleeing court after facing charges of battery and child abuse.
