FBI Offers ₹2.1 Crore Reward for Capture of Indian Man Who Killed Wife in US

Hanover, Maryland – The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has offered a reward of up to ₹2.1 crore for any information leading to the arrest of Bhadreshkumar Chetanbhai Patel, a fugitive on their top ten most wanted list. Patel is accused of killing his wife, Palak, while they were working at a Dunkin’ Donuts in Hanover, Maryland.

Patel allegedly attacked his wife in the backroom of the Dunkin’ Donuts with a kitchen knife, inflicting multiple stab wounds in a violent incident that was captured on CCTV during a night shift. The footage shows Patel and his wife heading towards the kitchen area before disappearing from view.

Following the incident in April 2015, Patel faces serious charges including first degree murder, second-degree murder, first-degree assault, second-degree assault, and dangerous weapon with intent to injure. An arrest warrant was issued, prompting Patel to flee and evade prosecution.

Gordon B Johnson, the Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s Baltimore Field Office, emphasized the violent nature of Patel’s alleged crimes, which led to his inclusion on the Top Ten Most Wanted List. Johnson expressed determination in capturing Patel with the assistance of the public, ensuring that justice is served for the victim and her family.
