Reports from Captain Marty Sellers, co-commander of the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit, indicated that the Tuscaloosa Police Department, along with additional units, are currently conducting an investigation at Reece Boulevard in the western part of the city, where the incident occurred late Friday night.
According to a spokesperson for the Tuscaloosa Police Department, the shooting unfolded in the 2200 block of Reece Boulevard, with the emergency call coming in at 11:02 pm. Sellers mentioned that although two individuals were shot, no additional details were available at the time of the initial report.
