The tragic incident occurred late Saturday night as Cartarsman Bryant’s son and a classmate were targeted by gunfire while stopped at a red light near Macon Road and Lake Shore Road around 11:50 p.m. The shooting left Bryant dead and his classmate, Clarence Flavors, injured.
