AUSTIN, Texas – Authorities in Austin are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a suspect involved in the fatal shooting of a man in south Austin. The incident took place on May 5th at around 11:05 p.m. when police responded to a Check Welfare call in the 700 block of West William Cannon Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered a man on the ground with a gunshot wound. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, the victim succumbed to his injuries.
