Efficient Registration of Births & Deaths Emphasized at Longleng District Training

Longleng, Nagaland – District Level Training on Online Registration of Births & Deaths took place at the Conference Hall of the District Economics & Statistics Office in Longleng recently. The training session was attended by registrars from various registration units within the district.

During the event, Deputy Commissioner and District Chief Registrar of Births & Deaths, Dharam Raj, emphasized the importance of accurate record-keeping. He stressed the significance of ensuring that each individual is issued only one birth or death certificate in their lifetime, discouraging the issuance of multiple certificates. The Deputy Commissioner highlighted the need for registrars to be diligent in their duties and obligations.

Addressing the attendees, R Thsanso Yimchunger, Deputy Director & DESO of Longleng, extended gratitude to all participants, including the District Chief Registrar and the Resource Person, Chonbeni Oren Patton. Their presence was acknowledged as valuable contributions to the training program.
