Convenience Store Clerk Shot and Killed Over Stolen Bag of Chips

Houston, Texas – A tragic incident unfolded in Houston on Friday when a convenience store clerk was fatally shot after attempting to stop two men who stole a bag of chips. The shooting took place at approximately 11:30 a.m. near the intersection of Will Clayton Parkway and Eastex Freeway, according to the Humble police.

Following the theft, the clerk pursued the two men in his vehicle until they reached the intersection, where the men opened fire on the clerk. Despite his efforts to retreat, the clerk was shot and died at the scene. In response, law enforcement, including the Houston Police Department and Harris County Precinct 4 deputies, launched a search for the suspects using drones and dogs, but they were unable to locate them as of Friday night.
