Child Killer Lukasz Czapla Battered in Jail by Sickened Lag After Murdering Son and Being Convicted of Child Abuse Images

EDINBURGH, Scotland – Lukasz Czapla, a child killer serving a life sentence for murdering his two-year-old son, was recently assaulted by another inmate at the high-security HMP Edinburgh. The attack on Czapla occurred in response to his heinous crime, as fellow inmates targeted him at the Saughton prison.

According to a source, Czapla had been moved to an enhanced hall at the prison, where he became a target for the attack due to the nature of his offense. The assault on Czapla came just days after he was convicted of making and possessing hundreds of child abuse images, in addition to his previous conviction for the murder of his son, Julius.

During the murder trial, prosecutors revealed that Czapla killed Julius in November 2020 to “get back” at his former partner after discovering she was in a new relationship. The court heard that Czapla had shot his son three times in the head with a gas-powered air pistol, in addition to stabbing and suffocating him.

In response to the assault on Czapla, a Scottish Prison Service spokesman stated, “We do not comment on individuals. SPS takes a zero-tolerance approach to violence and all alleged incidents are reported to Police Scotland.”

Czapla was given a life sentence with a punishment part of 22 years and was also sentenced to an additional 18 months for making and possessing child abuse images. His name was added to the sex offenders’ register for ten years. It is clear that the violent nature of Czapla’s crimes has made him a target within the prison, and the assault on him serves as a grim reminder of the lasting impact of his actions.
