St. Louis, Missouri – A 15-year-old student, Kaylee Gain, remains unconscious after being brutally attacked outside Hazelwood East High School in Spanish Lake, Missouri. Kaylee suffered a fractured skull, brain bleeding, and swelling as a result of the assault, which occurred on March 8. The incident was captured on video and shared on social media, showing Kaylee’s head being repeatedly smashed on the pavement.
According to a statement from attorney Bryan M. Kaemmerer, Kaylee has not regained consciousness ten days after the attack. Medical professionals are still assessing the extent of her injuries. The perpetrator, a teenage girl seen in the video assaulting Kaylee, has been arrested. Missouri’s attorney general is advocating for her to be charged as an adult. Kaylee’s family is focused on seeking justice for her once she recovers from her injuries.
