Attempted Armed Robbery Leaves Man Shot Outside DeKalb County Quik Trip, Suspects Flee on Foot

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A man was found outside of a Quik Trip in DeKalb County after being shot during an armed robbery attempt, according to police. The incident took place just before 6 p.m. on Saturday evening, when police were alerted to the shooting at a Quik Trip location on Flat Shoals Parkway.

The victim, who was a passenger in a vehicle, had been shot in the abdomen during an armed robbery in the Glen Hollow Drive area. After being shot, the female driver of the vehicle struck two other vehicles in an attempt to flee the scene. The three unknown suspects fled the location on foot after the incident.
