Zelensky reported on the aftermath of the strikes, stating that emergency services have been actively engaged in rescue operations. He shared that dozens of individuals were injured, among them children and a pregnant woman, while the tragic toll included at least four fatalities. “This was a vile attack,” he remarked, highlighting the dire situation faced by those affected.
The president confirmed that the assault featured ballistic and aeroballistic missiles alongside drones, marking one of the most intense nights of violence in recent months. He underscored that the devastation in Kyiv alone involved significant damage to multiple apartment buildings, with debris from an Iskander missile striking the Azerbaijani embassy.
