Assault Investigation: Police Seek Public’s Help in Finding Vehicle Connected to Violent Attack in Parker, Colorado

PARKER, Colo. – Authorities in Parker and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a vehicle that they suspect may be linked to a violent sexual assault incident. Detectives believe that the driver of the vehicle could have been involved in the assault or may have witnessed the attack and are urging individuals with any information to come forward.

The assault took place on the evening of February 13 in the Pinery subdivision in Parker as the victim was walking home in her neighborhood around 9:30 p.m. The authorities have released images of a Ford F-150 pickup truck that they believe could be connected to the incident. Despite the images being of poor quality – grainy and dark – investigators hope that someone will be able to identify the vehicle based on certain features.

According to detectives, the truck in question has distinctive fog lights that are illuminated and positioned below the headlights, as well as an apparent lift. They are counting on the public’s help in identifying the truck or its driver in order to move forward with their investigation.

Anyone who may have information related to this case is urged to contact Detective Adam Cummings via email at acummings@dcsheriff.net. The authorities are looking to reach out to anyone who may have seen the vehicle or have any knowledge that could assist in providing a lead in this case.

This plea for assistance from the public underscores the importance of community involvement in solving crimes and bringing perpetrators to justice. It serves as a reminder of the critical role that individuals can play in helping law enforcement agencies in their efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of the community.
