Alert: Manhunt Underway for Alleged Elementary School Shooter and Abductor

WEST RICHLAND, Wash. – Authorities are currently on the lookout for Elias Huizar, who is suspected of a shooting incident at William Wiley Elementary School that resulted in the death of his ex-wife and girlfriend. The Amber Alert issued by the Washington State Patrol states that Huizar, 39, is believed to have abducted his one-year-old son, Roman Huizar, and is possibly headed towards Mexico in a silver 2009 Toyota Corolla with Washington license plate CBZ4745.

According to the West Richland Police Department, Huizar is also facing charges for child rape from February and was expected to appear in court on the same day as the shooting.
