**Accident:** Two Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash in Tampines Avenue, Singapore

Singapore – Two individuals tragically lost their lives in a multi-vehicle collision involving four cars, a van, and a minibus at the intersection of Tampines Avenue 1 and Tampines Avenue 4 on Monday.

Authorities disclosed that a 17-year-old female car passenger and a 57-year-old female van passenger succumbed to their injuries after being rushed to the hospital following the accident. The incident also left several others injured, including three male car drivers, a 64-year-old male van driver, and an 11-year-old male car passenger, among others.

One of the deceased victims was identified as a first-year student from Temasek Junior College (TJC), who was en route to participate in the annual TJC Run when the collision occurred. The school’s principal expressed deep sorrow over the loss, extending support to the affected students and staff during this difficult time.

Additionally, the second victim was reported to be affiliated with First Choice Pest Specialist, a pest control firm located in the area. The police confirmed that investigations into the crash are ongoing, with a 42-year-old male car driver cooperating with authorities in the inquiry.

Emergency responders from the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) arrived at the scene promptly, rescuing individuals trapped in the wreckage. Several individuals were taken to different hospitals for medical treatment, with commendations being extended to members of the public who provided assistance following the incident.
