The Biden Administration Is Facilitating Human Trafficking

All eyes and cameras will be on New York as Alvin Bragg dives headfirst into a can of worms that no one needs or wants. Everyone from Glenn Beck to Greg Gutfeld has suggested that, in addition to being a political gimmick, the Trump indictment is a diversion from issues that should be of actual national concern. For example, the Biden administration’s immigration policies have aided human trafficking.

After a five-month investigation, the Florida Attorney General’s office released a preliminary report by a grand jury. The investigation exposed issues with how both the Department of Homeland Security and Health and Human Services’ Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) administered the Unaccompanied Alien Child (UAC) program. According to the grand jury report acquired by Just the News, as a result of its complicity, the administration facilitated the forced migration, sale, and abuse of foreign children.

According to the report, ORR assists foreign children’s forced migration, sale, and abuse. The report added that some fellow Floridians (in some cases unknowingly) are funding and incentivizing it for solely economic reasons. These organizations urge UAC to attempt and/or be subjected to a perilous journey to the U.S. border, eventually abandoning a major proportion of those who survive the journey to an unclear fate with mainly unvetted people. This procedure exposes children to horrific health conditions, continual criminal danger, labor and sex trafficking, robbery, rape, and other traumas that cannot be adequately described. The authors of the report said they would be unable to forget or unsee some of the heartbreaking testimonies, distressing recordings, and vexing mistreatment they witnessed throughout our five-month inquiry.

The report references a survey conducted by the Florida Department of Children and Families in 2022, in which 49 of the approximately 13,000 unaccompanied minors transported into the state that year were questioned. The children stated that they knew very little about the persons who smuggled them into and out of the country, and one youngster stated that members of her group were robbed and attacked by gang members. She indicated that there had been rapes and that she was one of the victims. The youngster also reported seeing decapitations to DCF. The grand jury stated that the issues associated with human trafficking and unregulated immigration have only worsened over time and that federal agencies responsible for safeguarding migrant children have failed to perform their mandates.

Although ORR has billions of dollars in taxpayer funds and works with activists and nonprofit organizations that receive hundreds of millions of dollars in grant money, hold millions in assets, and pay cadres of executives hundreds of thousands of dollars in salaries, ORR is operating in a dangerous manner with the lives thousands of foreign children.

The report’s authors state that for five months questioned, learned, listened to, reviewed, read, and discussed dozens of witnesses, streams of video, terabytes of data, and reams of paper. They received extensive first-hand testimony and accompanying documentation to support their conclusions. Several things discovered were disheartening to consider and elicited tremendous indignation.

This is due, in part, to a government that is so intent on populating the country with prospective communist votes that it is unconcerned with the lives and bodies of children. It is also the outcome of people realizing there is a lot of money to earn in “activism.” It is also the effect of bureaucrats who consider individuals as statistics and repercussions insignificant as long as they reach their retirement age. As long as they successfully retire, the implications are insignificant.
