Keith Frierson, known as KJ to family and friends, was riding his new Christmas bike when he was shot and killed. The accused shooter, another 10-year-old boy, allegedly obtained the weapon from his father’s car.
Nina Trepagnier, the godmother of Keith, described him as a fun-loving and trouble-free boy. She recounted the heartbreaking moment when Keith’s six-year-old friend witnessed the tragedy and expressed confusion as to why it happened.
