Yorba Linda High School Teen Arrested for Brutal Assault on Security Guard in Upscale Community

Yorba Linda, California – An 18-year-old high school student has been taken into custody in connection with a violent assault on a security guard in an upscale community in Orange County. Aidan Grogan was arrested at Yorba Linda High School following the incident, which occurred on March 3 at East Lake Village.

The attack, captured by security cameras, showed the security guard being rendered unconscious after being put in a headlock by the suspects, who were fishing after hours and were asked to leave. The severity of the assault suggests that at least one of the attackers may have had some training in combat techniques.

Residents of the community expressed frustration over the lack of communication from management regarding the incident. Despite the general manager confirming that the authorities were informed and assuring that the guard is expected to recover, details on the extent of the injuries sustained were not disclosed.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the assault, which was reported two days after it occurred. Grogan was booked at the Orange County Jail on charges of assault with a deadly weapon. As of now, it is unclear if there have been any other arrests related to the incident.
