Woman Suspected in Husband’s Murder Found Dead in Washington

PORTLAND, Ore. – Authorities in the state of Washington have confirmed the discovery of the body of Analiesa Golde, the woman suspected in her husband’s murder in the Lents neighborhood last month. Golde, 55, was found deceased in the area of Long Beach, along with the 2015 burnt orange Toyota 4Runner that officials had been searching for since January 26. Police believe she took her own life.

Golde had been wanted for second-degree murder after her husband, 37-year-old Phillip E. Pierce, was found dead inside the couple’s home on Southeast Suncrest Drive. Police discovered Pierce with a fatal gunshot wound after forcing their way into the locked house during a wellness check.

Following the grisly discovery, a widespread search for Golde ensued, as she had been missing and was considered “armed and dangerous.” The search eventually expanded to Southwest Washington. The news of Golde’s death came after a prolonged period of uncertainty, during which authorities and the public frantically searched for her.

Stacy Pierce, the mother of the deceased, urged Golde to turn herself in to police during an interview with KOIN 6 News. Pierce recounted a troubling encounter with Golde, noting a significant change in her behavior in the months leading up to the tragic events. She described an unnerving scene in which Golde was visibly distressed, carrying a firearm, and causing tension within the household.

Portland police are appealing to the public for any additional information about Golde that may aid in the ongoing investigation. The case continues to evolve, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward as they seek to bring closure to this tragic situation.
